My wife, Kim, graduated Cum Laude, in 1988 with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Animal Science, from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. She worked in her field of study until she joined me in 1996 to assist in building my practice. Kim also holds her Property and Casualty Insurance license and works for Sypolt Insurance Services, Inc., out of our office, as an equine and farm insurance specialist. Additionally, she is a Notary Public and a competitive dressage rider.
Before joining our office as an administrative assistant, in November 2015, Carol owned and operated a successful business for a number of years. She has also worked intermittently as an administrative assistant and project leader for a non-profit organization. While raising her 3 children, she frequently volunteered and held a number of leadership positions at her children’s elementary school. Carol has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a California Teaching Credential from California State University, Sacramento in 1989.
Jacob Basford was born and raised in San Diego California. He attended Colorado State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with a focus in investment analysis and corporate finance. While studying at Colorado State University, Jacob completed an internship with First National Bank of Omaha and held a position as financial intern with GuideSpring Wealth Strategies.
Following graduation, Jacob moved to Sacramento to join First Allied Securities Inc. as a registered Financial Advisor. Jacob obtained his series 7, 66 and CA insurance licenses in the summer of 2021.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys skiing, camping, playing basketball and spending time with family and friends.
